Orders

All cake portion quantities are estimates.

We do not operate a nut free kitchen and therefore all cakes may contain traces of nuts.

We require a minimum of 1 weeks’ notice on icing cake orders and 48 hours for fresh cream cakes.

Please check your order thoroughly before payment.  For bespoke cakes, our decorators can only create the finished article from what they interpret from the wording of your order. It is not possible to create exact specifications when modelling food, just a graphical representation.

By proceeding with your order you have agreed to all of the information shown on it so please check spelling, flavours and colours.

If an inscription colour or any other choice is left un-selected on your order then we reserve the right to use our own discretion.

Any allergies or dietary requirements should be made known to us prior to placing your order.

Colours will be attempted to get as close to what you have requested, however we cannot guarantee an exact pantone match as colour presents differently on food.

Strong colours mixed with fresh cream may stain the hands and mouth.

Returns and Refunds

Should you deem your purchased product unsatisfactory and wish to return it this should be done within 24 hours of you taking possession of your items.  If the product cannot be returned then photographic evidence must be supplied if a refund is to be given.  Without any evidence of your complaint unfortunately no refunds will be offered.

Any damage to cakes caused in transit, the onus lies with the customer.  Wilton Patisserie Ltd cannot offer refund or replacements in these instances.

All icing cake orders in excess of £100 are required to pay a minimum of £30 deposit.  This deposit will not be returned if the afore mentioned cake is cancelled with 72 hours of the collection/delivery date.

You are given the opportunity to check your cake upon collection.  In the rare occasion there is a mistake with the cake this is where we may be able to fix it.  If the cake is accepted and taken off the premises then unless there is proof the issue was caused by ourselves we may not be able to assist.

Transportation and Storage

Cakes should be transported on a flat stable surface to prevent any damage.  The most ideal place is the boot of a car; NOT your lap or on a seat.

Butter cream cakes should be kept in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface.

Fresh cream cakes should be kept in the fridge.  If a frozen cake has been requested please allow to thaw for 3 hours before cutting.

Delivery

Delivery service operates Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm excluding Bank Holidays.

If no one is home to take delivery of your items we will attempt to make contact with you and possibly leave your order in a safe place, with your permission.  If we are unable to do so your items will be brought back to Wilton Patisserie, 49-53 Chase Side, Southgate, N14 5BU where you will be able to collect them during normal opening hours.  If a delivery charge has been paid this will NOT be refunded.

We offer delivery to the following postcodes: EN1, EN2, EN3, EN4, EN5, EN6, N2, N3, N8, N9, N10, N11, N12, N13, N14, N15, N18, N20, N21, N22.

Delivery to the above postcodes is free for orders over £40.00.  For orders under £40.00 a delivery fee of £6.00 will be incurred.
