The Wilton story begins in 1978 when a young Christos Neokleous graduated from the Hotel and Catering school of Dianellios in Larnaca, Cyprus and was employed as a pastry chef in the prestigious 5* hotel in Limassol, the “Amathus”.

After 8 years of experience and much encouragement from family and friends, alongside with his wife Stavroulla, in 1986, the opening of their first patisserie shop in Ayia Zoni, Limassol was opened. Endless hours and continuous hard work established the name we all know today, “Wilton Patisserie”.

In 1989, the 2nd shop was born in Linopetra, Limassol. This housed a new production factory which was operative up until 2011 and servicing 6 outlets.

Throughout the years the Company went from strength to strength and opened another 4 outlets, 2 more in Limassol namely Ayias Fylaxeos and Nikou Pattihi. The other 2 outlets were opened in Larnaca and in Paphos.

May 2008 proved to be another milestone for the Company as Chris opened the 7th outlet in the United Kingdom, in the heart of the Greek Community, namely Chase Side, Southgate.

Running a business from abroad proved to be a difficult challenge for Chris and decided to look for a business partner who lived in the UK and had the attributes to ran and take the business forward.

In August 2010, Andrew Georgiou became Chris’s partner and although Andy was not in this industry his background in the catering industry was well acknowledged and respected, especially the fast food industry where he worked and later took over the well known “Wimpy Bar “ in Green Lanes, Harringay.

The two partners complimented each other and have created a brand which is of the highest standard for everyone to enjoy.

The next step was to move to a new and bigger premises  and in 2011 the Company  opened a state of the art production factory producing well over 300 products in savouries , cakes, desserts, wedding and christening cakes, favours etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xms7U2wfshQ
